Sant Llorenç is in the commune of Manacor. one of Majorcas largest towns located in a valley at the foot of the Sierra de Llevant Mountains. Manacor port is known as Portocristo and is to be found on the coast. thirteen kilometres out of town. Formerly a fishing port dating back to the 12th century. today it has been transformed into a first class tourist centre and its attractions include the Drach and Hams caves.These two wonderful. natural caves have brought international renown to the area. Within the Drach caves there is a natural lake on which an orchestra stages a concert with an accompanying light show while tourists enjoy a boat ride.
